About The Role

At CALA we build and design product with a keen eye on quality and scalable architecture. Our mission is to create powerful and intuitive software within the fashion industry. We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our small, but quickly growing team at CALA. You’ll help define our design and product team culture, roadmap, and be a critical part of the next phase of our growth.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers, leadership, and the engineering team to design product solutions and solve for the wants and needs of our customers

• Design pixel-perfect mocks and components from end-to-end (ideation, product planning, all the way through implementation)

• Create and maintain product specs that define the direction and requirements for stakeholders and engineering

• Help us to build and scale a robust design system with intuitive and practical patterns

Requirements

• 4+ years professional Product Design experience

• Strong and opinionated visual design proficiency across desktop and mobile

• Deep understanding and appreciation of design systems

• Deep appreciation for product and the role design plays in creating world-class product experiences

• Ability to run projects end-to-end; from ideation, product spec, pixel-perfect mocks, to design implementation and review

• Strong written and verbal communication to clearly articulate design and product vision to the broader team
